I was just checking through my comments that I have received and have found a great surprise Carol from naturallycarol has nominated me for a Stylish blogger award, thanks so much Carol.

1. I still live at home with my lovely father, at 26 I really should have moved out already but it seems to work for all. I do the shopping and the cooking and we seem to stay out of each others hair pretty easily.

2. Reading Jane Green's Promises to keep and actually cried reading it last night. I have never cried reading a book before and I will never confess to it again but I couldn't help myself. It is a great book and Jane Green is an excellent writer I have read several of her books and would highly recommending reading some of her books.

3. I love watching 60 minute makeover which is a UK show that I just have to watch every Friday night it seems to help me wind the week down.

4. Currently have lost 17kgs with the help of my great dietitian and the support of all my friends and family and even co-workers I have reached just over half way. I will blog about my progress in the coming days if your interested check back.

5. Its the 8.01.11 and we still have our christmas tree up. We are really lazy.

6. Single not dating anyone, have to confess I kind of like being single, doing what I want when I want too is really good at the moment so sorry boys get in the queue haha (I wish)

7. Pets I have: 1 Lizard called Fred, 4 Frogs I have never named the little fellows, 2 Mice- called M&M and peanut, and also a short necked turtle named Munchkin cause he is only 3cms big he is so cute.

Market review.. then there was cake

Boy I forgot how much work doing a market was... Fun was had all round though.

I luckily didnt have to get up too early for this market. Lovely Melbourne weather was a bit of a dampener on things though. Woke up to the sound of drizzly rain on the roof so was not the best start.

Got there and found out I was going to be inside anyway so yippy that was a big weight off the shoulders as I only had a big market umberella and that doesn't keep of the rain really.

Anyway got into the swing of things pretty easily. I have lost a lot of weight since was last market and I was very pleasantly suprised by how much better I can do things so it was really easy.

I had the best spot right near the door but not in the breeze so I could hid behind my stall and make bows in the lull of the day. I had a great day. I had some great sales. All up I think I made $80-100 I didnt keep track as I was a bit lazy.. haha

after awhile I just couldn't resist the cupcakes one of the lovely mums had made to sell.

I hope the pre-school made a lot of money I know I had a ball watching the kids run around on sugar highs and getting their faces painted :-)

Can't wait to go next year.

Market this weekend

Have to confess I haven't done a market in over 10 months.. Very naughty of me.

St Andrews every Saturday was my ritual, did it for at least a year as a casual and it just seemed so hard to get to be permanent I just couldn't hack the getting up at 5am to get there by 6am... It just got to me.. After the christmas high Jan was just not bringing in enough cash to warrant the long days and lack of sleep so I kind of chucked it in.

I do miss the people and the food.. ohhhh the food. Another reason I gave it in... to loose weight. I'm sure if I was still going to the market I would not have lost as much as I have..

Anyway I was contacted months ago by a mariemont pre school and they are doing their annual fete/market on this weekend and way back I agreed to do it not really thinking but I do need to get me out there again so I'm glad I did say yes.

Preparing has been fun I guess, getting the table out of the garage and remembering all the stuff I use to take, all we need now is some great weather... come on melbourne you can do it... please just for me.

If your interested Mariemont preschool is in Wantirna and the fete/market is from 10-2pm so I get to sleep in yippy...
