Another collection of mine...

Decided to make a theme week of collections I have. This collection is of Blythe Dolls. I got into them about a year ago and I just couldn't help myself and have expanded my collection.
I am going to attend the National Blythe convention in Sydney in march next year, I went last year and it was definitely interesting so thought I'd drag my aunty with me this year for some fun. Just going to do the fly in and out in one day but I'm going to have some fun.
Anyway my collection of dolls has cost me a bit but we wont go into that will we.
Do you think I might have a few outfits.... :-)

Collection of Ribbon

Going with the theme of collections I thought I'd share with you my ribbon stand I made.
I bought a big bit of plywood and stuck 2 long bits of wood on the end and screwed in hooks. I then threaded my ribbon on to rods and completed my ribbon stand.

The stand is massive and as it is on my crafting desk I have to stand on a step to get to the top rung so I tend not to use the top rung.

I have taken a lot of the ribbon off which is a shame as I have a travel bag full of ribbon for travel crafting so its not looking its best. I would gestimate that I have every type of ribbon under the sun and I just love every one of them. I have banned myself from buying any more ribbon for the rest of the year anyway :-)

I hope you like my collection.

Sorry about the pic I was in a bit of a hurry. You can see in my pic my trusty drill and my dear old friend troll..

Buttons... glorious buttons.

I was inspired by little adelaide kate and her pics of her buttons and I had to share with you all my buttons. I just love buttons I have had to ban myself from buying any more. I have actually made things with them like button flowers and various other things.
When I feel down or need some inspiration I just open my boxes of buttons, they always bring a smile on my face. Do you get the same feeling from buttons or some other fantastic crafty item?
Please share....

Kim :-)
